The Mirpuri Foundation Sailing Trophy 2025 returns for its sixth edition from July 4–6, delivering a weekend of world-class sailing in the scenic and challenging waters of Cascais, Portugal. This year marks the debut of the prestigious TP52 class, with the 52 SUPER SERIES – the leading international circuit for TP52 yachts – headlining the regatta.
Alongside the TP52s, seven other competitive classes will race: NHC, ORC, J70, SB20, SNIPE, FINN, and OPTIMIST, bringing together top international sailors and high-performance boats for an action-packed event.
The regatta continues its strong commitment to sustainability. It is a plastic-free event, and 100% of entry fees are donated to ocean conservation projects. The Mirpuri Foundation will also sponsor 50% of entry fees until March 31, 2025.
A highlight of the weekend will be the prize-giving ceremony, with 38 trophies awarded, including the iconic Mirpuri Foundation Sailing Trophy — a solid gold and silver perpetual trophy — and the Mirpuri Foundation Ocean Award, recognizing innovation in marine conservation.
The Mirpuri Foundation has a long-standing commitment to ocean health and sustainable sailing, having supported major campaigns such as Turn the Tide on Plastic and the Mirpuri Foundation Racing Team. The 2025 edition of the Sailing Trophy promises elite competition, powerful sustainability messaging, and an unforgettable experience on and off the water.
